1. The helmet can be wiped with clean water, and must not be wiped with organic solvents such as alcohol, gasoline, or corrosive liquids such as acids and alkalis.
2. If the lining of the helmet is detachable, wash it by hand with warm water directly. If the inner liner is not detachable, you can use a brush dipped in diluted neutral detergent or shampoo to lightly brush the lining, and dry after finishing.
3. The helmet can be placed in a ventilated and cool place to dry, and should be protected from moisture. However, it should not be exposed to sunlight, heavy pressure and collision to avoid damage. Helmets that have not been used for a long time can be wiped clean, and after drying, put on the sheath, top up, and put it back in the carton for storage.
4. Helmets also have a shelf life. Each helmet has a service life. Whether it is FRP, engineering plastics, or foam plastics, there is an aging phenomenon. With the passage of time and long-term use loss, the strength of various materials decreases. The protective performance will be weakened, so the expired helmet must not be used (usually 2-5 years). Make it a habit to regularly check the appearance of your helmet, and remember not to take it lightly if there is a broken, scratched or cracked helmet.
